In the New Year (date to be specified) the Aber Veg group are planning a “Happy Veggie stall” with free food and information for all. The accent is on easily available locally with contributions from local healthfood shops and vegan food companies and advertising where the foods available are to be found in Aberystwyth. All home-made foods will have recipes available. There will be Viva and Vegan Society leaflets to be picked up also and plenty of friendly people to answer questions. We think that the added bonus of doing it early in the New Year will be that many people will still be in their “good resolution” way of thinking and thus will be more susceptible to try things.

Redwoods (cheezly, sausages, cheatin' slices and falafel) Fry's (burgers, sausages, nuggets) BoojaBooja (chocolate of 5 different flavours)

have all generously agreed to supply some samples for the stall.

Patisserie Florentine and a local healthfoodshop have also volunteered contributions. We have more people on our list to ask too.

Foods that we have so far agreed to make ourselves include: Pineapple and sausage cocktail sticks Chocolate cake Mini-trifles (maybe!)

We also hope that by doing this stall we will recruit more veg*ans to our group.
