UK carbon map reveals effect of energy policies

Although not strictly veggie news, news worth mentioning is the fact that Aber is considered one of the UK's most green spots in terms of carbon emissions! We know there are so many more Aber veg 'uns out there who havent joined our group, but it seems Aber has more than a “green” population! Well done Aber – may it long stay this way!

AberVeg food-give-away stall report

On 25th February, AberVeg did a free food give-away on the high-street. Despite freezing cold wind straight off the sea, it was a good day with plenty of food, lots of leaflets and fairly good passer-by interest (shame about the weather!). We even got the local paper's interest with pictures in the Cambrian News (will scan in ASAP!). (pictures forthcoming as soon as I get the floppy disk from the person who took the pictures!)
